Top 5 Food Delivery Services in Central America Q3 2022

During the third quarter of 2022, the leading food delivery apps in Central America showed varied performance trends. Here’s a detailed look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for the top 5 applications.

Rappi: Market and Food Online maintained a steady revenue stream, fluctuating between $3K and $5K per week. Downloads started at around 167K in late June and saw a gradual decline to approximately 125K by the end of September. Active users exhibited a slight increase initially, peaking at around 2.3M in mid-July, before stabilizing at about 2.2M towards the end of the quarter.

DiDi Food - Food Delivery did not generate any revenue during this period. However, downloads remained relatively stable, starting at approximately 137K at the end of June and closing the quarter at around 131K. Active users showed a slight downward trend, from roughly 1.7M to 1.7M by the end of September.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery also reported no revenue during Q3 2022. Weekly downloads ranged from about 82K in late June to 73K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at around 1.8M and ending the quarter with approximately 1.7M users.

Modelorama Now also did not record any revenue. Downloads increased significantly, starting at about 24K in late June and peaking at approximately 53K by mid-September before settling at around 35K. Active users saw a notable rise, starting at roughly 38K and reaching around 70K by mid-September, before ending the quarter at about 56K.
